Starting in May, instead of soliciting one sponsor for Altar flowers and one sponsor for the broadcast, we will be transitioning to TWO worship sponsors weekly at a cost of $80 each.
This is motivated by a number of factors: the regular increase in the cost of flowers, growth in our congregation that makes some desired dates not available for flower sponsorship, and sponsors’ infrequent acceptance of both altar bouquets.
Each of the two sponsors will have the ability to take home ONE bouquet or designate that it be donated. The altar guild will then determine the best recipient with staff, lay visitors, and the congregational care team.
Worship sponsors and the dedication will be listed in the bulletin and on the broadcast.
