Rachel Gambone
Congregational Life Coordinator

Rachel Gambone has served Trinity’s ministries since 2005. In her role as Congregational Life Coordinator, she organizes many of Trinity’s volunteers and supports Trinity’s worship services.  In the Bard House church office, she maintains church records, facilitates administrative functions of the staff and Vestry, maintains the calendars, and liaises with church committees. She finds deep satisfaction in supporting Trinity’s many ministries and the spiritual life of the congregation, its visitors and friends.

Prior to joining Team Trinity, Rachel was an educator.  She earned her BA at Oberlin College in East Asian Studies and her MA at the University of Chicago in International History. She studied foreign relations between the US, mainland China, Taiwan, and Japan. She also learned the Mandarin language. She taught courses as an adjunct instructor at Alvernia University and Penn State-Berks and particularly enjoyed working with older, non-traditional students.

She and her husband have lived in the Reading area for more than 25 years. She enjoys singing with Reading Choral Society, playing Renaissance and Baroque recorders, reading, and landscape photography. In warm weather you will find her in her flower garden, cultivating plants for bees and butterflies.
