Trinity member Travis Shick retired June 1st, 2024 from the Pennsylvania National Guard after 30 years of service to our nation. At his retirement ceremony, held at Fort Indiantown Gap on May 18th, he was promoted to Colonel and received numerous citations, including one from President Biden. Pastor Hans was honored to represent Trinity at the ceremony.
The fifth Sunday after Epiphany continues to highlight unlikely instruments and circumstances appointed to reveal God’s glory. “Who will go for us?” God asks. A person of unclean lips, a former persecutor of the church of God, and three fishermen who couldn’t catch a thing. More surprising still, perhaps, is that we are also called.
